About Me

As a self-proprietor and head consultant, Eric Gilroy possesses a breadth and depth of sales and business experience. He has worked in New Business Development, Territory Account Management, Global Account Management, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy and Design, and various internal Sales Consulting roles.  He has held sales leadership positions in companies as small as 40 employees, and as large as 20,000 employees.  This gives him the ability to identify with and understand a wide variety of perspectives, behaviors, cultures, and critical business issues within sales organizations.

Eric has also led a variety of consulting engagements with Fortune 500 companies who have sought his advanced business insight with their strategy, marketing, and human resources challenges.

Although beating quota as a front line salesperson or re-structuring a sales organization was exhilarating, Eric desired to leverage his experience and education to create value for small and enterprise level businesses as a sales consultant.  He started his consulting practice, Sales Strategy for Executives, in July of 2009.

Eric holds a BA in Psychology and Marketing from Tulane University, and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
